The power of the mighty internet has struck again, this time turning Antoine Dodson into an overnight star. Who is Antoine Dodson you say? Would you recognize the name if told you to “hide your kids, hide your wife and hide your husband, cause they’re rapin’ everybody out here “? If you still don’t recognize the name then check out the video below.
Dodson is determined not to be a YouTube one-hit wonder. He got off to a great start by creating his own YouTube channel and quickly gaining 45,000+ subscribers and becoming this month’s most subscribed to channel.
So what is he posting to his YouTube channel? So far he’s uploaded seventeen videos, including numerous interviews that he’s done with the media, a walk-through of his house and he’s answering questions from his fans in a Q&A format. His videos have been watched over 1.7 million times so far.
He’s also making some money in the meantime, earning a portion of the proceeds from the official “Bed Intruder Song” iTunes remix (affilliate link) and selling merchandise on his website.
It will be interesting to see how far he can ride this fame. If anything, at least he’s found a way to earn some money and help his family.
At the time of this post they have yet to find the intruder but let it be known, he “gon find you”.
